HELPFUL TIPS

• Upon receiving your order inspect the blades immediately to ensure you have exactly what you ordered.

• Check over your Bandsaw machine regularly as routine maintenance will ensure your blades work at their optimum every time.

• Always break in new bandsaw blades to avoid stripping or cracking the tooth structure.

• Use the correct coolant if applicable.

• There is no such thing as an ‘all purpose’ blade. If you’re cutting lots of different types of materials and/or thicknesses you will need different blades and tooth profiles to cut these materials properly. For example, the blade used to cut RHS singles is not going to cut a bundle of them.

• Don’t leave it until the last blade is on the machine to order! Blades are made to order and in busy times can take a few days to get dispatched. Add on freight delays and you could be stuck without blades. We recommend giving us at least 7 working days notice.
